The school has emerged to glorious heights with the dedication and guidance of the founding principal Mrs. D.L.Padmasheeli Liyanage and was later followed by Mrs. Priyanthi Samaraweers. I am sincerely indebted to their efforts and leadership which made the school flourish.

The effort of the teachers who have served the school in the past years and who serving the school cannot be neglected as they have guided the students to produce exceptional results in all the fields concerning education.

I would extend my sincere gratitude to all the benefactors and well-wishers of the school who have been generous in lending their hands developing the school to its present state.

During the past 31 years the Vishakhians have excelled not only in knowledge but also in all other areas concerning co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. They have performed with flying colours both nationally and internationally which has bought frame and recognition to their Alma mater.

In all those past years Vishakhians have been inculcated with values and principals which govern their behavior while providing courage to face modern challenges. Vishakha Vidyalaya has provided the students with an environment which is governed by the values and the principals of Buddhism.
